One thing that I am really looking for is a plugin for openx I want to be able to put a text link into the article using a plugin tag example: {openx-Id9}

As of now if I want to add OpenX code I have to go to global configuration turn off the wysiwig then go back to the article and enter the html script then save go back change back to the wysiwig. And if I ever edit the article again using the wysiwig it screws up the code so I have to go searching for the openx code and repeat the process a tag would be so much easier.

Sure you can add banners like the above person said but that is only in Module positions not within the articles themselves.

Thanks Qasim

I'd be interested to hear what you see as the pros/cons and what extra features you think are missing from both.

cheers,

Hi Guillaume

It's good to know there are otherways to ad add tags easily to Joomla.

I think our the OpenX module for Joomla could provided tighter integration over time but at it's core is the same concept - choosing where ad tags get displayed using Joomla's native functionality.

cheers, Oliver

Highest priority for us:
- bugfix: https://developer.openx.org/jira/browse/OX-1413 as we can not use it straigth for IE with flash banners
- banner forecasting system for the sales person; so he knows what he sold en which website has still free views available

Plugin for Typo3 would be nice; although with the current interface of openx it is working nice as well.

But why developping a Joomla module for Open Ads ?
In Joomla there is a component for Ads, where you can put the Open Ads Tag into.
I use it on my websites and there is no problem !

Exemple : <a href="http://www.radioespace.com" title="Radio Espace" rel="nofollow">Radio Espace</a>

Hey guys and gals,

I haven't tested it yet but there is a popular module that is available to integrate an install of openx with Drupal - so for anyone using, or interested in using, Drupal with Openx, check out:

Moduł OpenX dla Joomla

Opublikowano 2008-05-14
