An auto sell integration must be the next movement of this great script, where the advertiser can do the payment for his campaigns.

How can such a great product be so useless? I guess paypal/autorize.net integration has eluded the developers....

Firstly I want to congratulate the developers for doing a great job with OpenAds. I am sure they are extremely proud of the interest in this application.

The question however is why the self-sign up and PayPal integration continue to be avoided like a plaque. Answer is that there are future plans for these features which only the business minded individuals can understand.

If money is the motive then I am sure OpenAd developers can put their money where their mouth is...integrate openAd on their website and make lots of money from an almost guaranteed advertising revenue that will come from there. afterall, I am certain this site receives thousands, if not millions of hits a day from the web community with different demographics that is attractive to any potential advertisers.

However, one suggestion for the developers is that they should study the popular and vastly successful CMS models like Joomla, and they can learn a lesson or two from there. Time they say wait for no one. People are fast to jump ship if and when they find alternatives. Those alternatives comes up when there is a need to be met and some else sees this and make those need available.

Keep up the good work folks and don't rest on your oasis.

Just my two cents or does this cost more than that...?

It is now 2008 and Paypal Integration and Advertiser sign up are still no where in sight.

Could you please stop stringing everyone along and let us know when (or if)these are going to be implemented. People have been waiting years for these, when we could just go and use a different product which already include this functionality.

Thanks

Sure it clarifies some things, but the main point was missed/avoided...How is openads going to be sustainable in the future without charging for the product?

Most investors, including VC companies are looking for returns on their investment in some way or another.

Thank you for your comment and your product suggestions/requests.

You are correct in stating that many publishers have been asking for advertiser self sign-up and payment integration for years BUT we have only been an independent company for a month!

Before we raised capital we worked for one enterprise customer, not the Openads community. One of the reasons we raised capital was so that we could become independent and start working on improvements/additions to the software that would benefit all of you. Your product requests have been noted, are on our road map and we hope to get some more great software to all of you shortly.

So, please be patient and keep writing in with your product suggestions or ideas.
