A massive thank you to all the developers who have worked extremely hard over the last week to get the new 2.3.37 beta release out.

This version contains the following updates:

  • Conversion of Flash hardcoded links was not working on some setups.
  • Fixed fatal errors in lg.php, avw.php.
  • Fixed ability of Agency accounts to use Targeting Statistics.
  • Fixed past statistics migration from MMM v0.1.

For full details on the new version, please see the Openads 2.3.37 beta release notes.

Thank you to all of you for your continued feedback. Please continue to report back your experiences in the forum. Thanks!

  2. I really am a big fan of OpenAds. I think though that announcing a beta as a new version is a little bit confusing. Beta versions are still in test mode and therefore are not to be supposed as an update for a stable version. I think it would be a good idea to therefore alter the text of the ‘new version’ detected pop-up so that people that aren’t that experienced will see that it isn’t a stable version of a new release yet.

    Keep up the good work!

  3. I suppose we do need to make things clearer, as many users seemed to have this confusion.

The beta release is being marked as a non-stable development release. In 2.0, you can go to the Administrator settings screen and disable “Prompt for newly released development versions”

You will still receive prompts for any stable releases, but not for beta releases.
