What I like about this report is that it says, implicitly, that there is room for more people to contribute to OpenX and monetize their work.

We at AdoptX.net are striving to contribute plugins and resources to OpenX that although not open source themselves will help to promote OpenX as a full featured and full serviced software.

Companies like Google, and AdTech do have API's but... they are impossible to get at the inner code and sample data.... a huge barrier to entry.

It's just really nice to know that there is a base of users who would appreciate and respond to services that we can offer.

I think some of those articles make good points.

A contender to take on the mighty Google.

I myself have found good success with OpenX and for clients, I think they find it a unique and very strong platform to serve their advertising.

What would be nice to see is an article that really focuses on what OpenX can become. Unlike Google who offer great things and we eat them, OpenX is presenting change according to users and their desires.

I don't think an advertising strategist like myself could easily give Google advice, but I can gain response within the OpenX community from my experience.
